Harmonize; The Third Coming in Juba – S. Sudan.

Harmonize; The Third Coming in Juba – S. Sudan.

By Stelios Peter

When Tanzania’s Harmonize in his song All I Need with South Sudan’s “original first lady” Mary Boyoi said he doesn’t need her money but love, many had doubts but by the look of it, the boy meant it. The love that can allure the man of his status out of his comfort zone in Dar Salaam to the heat city that Juba is. For this reason, he will be in Juba this week to drown in it like a bee in a honey comb before he returns dripping with satisfaction.

Harmonize (real name Rajabu Abdul) being an artiste and South Sudan tightening her grips amidst the spiraling Covid-19 cases, the rumor has raised murmurs around but promoter cum business man Promota K2, who  will be the host says while in Juba, Harmonize will lie low like an envelope “Harmonize’s visit is normal just like a friend visiting another. He will not have any performance” K2 clarified.

K2 says while in Juba, the guest will be in freedom to spend his time  as he wishes and if the mood is right, he might do some songs here and there, meet a few people and do the things celebrities do when they visit a location with a huge fan base.

The enterprising promoter is yet to confirm the arrival date of the bongo star but he is sure Abdul will be in the country next week for a whole week.

Last week via instagram , Harmonize declared his love for South Sudan claiming he is half South Sudanese and half Tanzanian. At the Insider South Sudan, we cannot confirm the legality of this confession but what we are sure of is that his stay here will determine whether the intention is to process his South Sudan passport or give Boyoi or any other artiste another hit song following his promise to take South Sudan’s music to the world.

If it comes to pass, this will be the third time a particular international artiste will be in South Sudan, a feat only bettered by Uganda’s Jose Chameleone.
