You are more than what the world imagines

You are more than what the world imagines

“Realize that a thousand failures are the building blocks of your becoming. You are not dissuaded by the dead ends. I hope you realize that they are not final destinations. I hope you realize that it is the courage to keep beginning that ultimately gets us all where we are meant to be.”

Much like nature, life is very often working in our favor, even when it seems like we are only being faced with adversity, discomfort and change.  You are more than what the world imagines you to be. More than the sum of how others see you.  I hope you will honor that small feeling within you that tells you there is a deeper truth present.

Find the courage to redefine yourself on your own terms, to know that you are more than what circumstances made you adapt into. You are more than who you became to survive. You are more than what you chose when you did not realize there was a choice. Realize that the limits of your mind sometimes do not match up to the limitless potential within your heart. I hope you will know that it is never too late to start over, and when you do, it is never too late to choose who knows who you really are.

If you ever get the chance, go alone. Walk alone, travel alone, live alone, dance alone, just for a night, just for a while. If you ever get the chance, learn who you are when the world is not demanding you be one way or another.  Most people only know how to stand if someone else is beside them. Do not let that be your story. If you ever get the chance, know that the opportunity to walk alone even for a short while is a gift unlike any other. One that can hand you insight that can change the rest of your life.  If you ever get the chance, walk alone, just for a night, just for a while. Learn who you are outside of who the world wants you to be. I hope that you will see the chance to do this is a gift unlike any other. A gift that can hand the rest of your life back to you.

One day you will have to reinvent yourself outside of the shadow of what everyone else has asked you to be. You will have to ask yourself who you are if you have no obligation to anyone else. You will have to explore who you would become if you knew you were completely free, if you knew you would not be judged, if you knew that all the things you ever desired were simply on the other side of you stepping into who you already are. Taking the essence of your soul and turning it into form.

You get to choose how you see your life, and so I hope you choose to see serendipity. I hope that when something beautiful happens, you take it as a confirmation, and when something hard happens, you take it as a moment to rest and heal. I hope you choose to put together the pieces. I hope you seek understanding, find little wells of joy that may spring up through the day. I hope you feel a connection where others see separation. Discover things you never knew you never knew you would have wanted to come.

Please realize that a thousand failures are the building blocks of your becoming. You are not dissuaded by the dead ends. I hope you realize that they are not final destinations. I hope you realize that it is the courage to keep beginning that ultimately gets us all where we are meant to be.

Truth is that you probably do not need more motivation. You already know what to do. You already know what you want, you already know what you are meant for, you already know who you are. You would choose these things without hesitation if not for the wounds, the conditioning, and the limiting beliefs that prevent you from seeing clearly. You would do what you are meant to do, that to be your own self was not to expose yourself in the most painful existence of all.

The truth is that you probably do not need more motivation, you need more healing. You are not seeking a light outside of you, but to remove the blocks that are preventing you from seeing it radiating from within. You do not need to find yourself; you have been right there all along. You need to give yourself permission to accept what has always been inside you. You do not need to figure out what you are going to do with your life. You have to let go of the idea that there is any one single thing you are meant for, and simply allow yourself to intuitively move forward the blueprint that was in you all along.

What if you already know who you are, where you are going and what you are meant for, and the journey is growing to believe it is safe to be who you are, and that being this person is what you truly deserve?
